Sweatshirt - Frenzied Palm, Laurie Miller

This semi-abstract palm was the first in my crazy palm series - oil on canvas panel. A colleague of mine passed away from Covid-19 in March, and I was processing his death and the craziness the pandemic was creating. I like the image of the palm tree as a symbol of bending, but not breaking, during this crisis.
